Provision of Maintenance and Repair Services for the UPS Systems

The Contractor is to provide maintenance and repair services for the Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Systems, manufactured by Schneider Electric, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York for the duration of 3 years with additional optional extention of 1 year each. The United Nations Headquarters is located at 405 East 42nd Street, New York, New York 10017.

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation and disposal together with all incidentals necessary or required to complete scheduled preventive maintenance; corrective maintenance; load bank testing; and battery maintenance and replacement services for the Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) Systems for the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

The Contractor shall be fully responsible for maintenance and repair of the UPS systems in accordance with industrial standards and practices; and applicable Local, State, Federal, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA); and the UPS manufacturers’ user manual safety guidelines. All services and materials provided shall comply with manufacturer’s requirements/ standards and IEEE Std 445-1995, IEEE Recommended Practice for Emergency and Standby Power Systems for Industrial and Commercial Applications. All units, equipment and battery systems shall be maintained and serviced in accordance with the original manufacturers’ specific maintenance requirements and trouble shooting diagnostics guidelines.
