Provision of Maintenance Services, Execution of works in workshops, labs and CERN accelerator infrastructure, covering mechanical, electrical, and safety domains

Item Description:

CERN intends to place several contracts for an initial period of three years for the provision of corrective and preventive maintenance services and the production, installation and commissioning of new systems using electrical, mechanical, and safety expertise, in laboratories and CERN accelerator infrastructure. The contracts will include: – the maintenance of access control systems and of automatic fire and gas detection systems – the maintenance and modification of RF systems and the assembling, machining, manufacturing process follow-up, and commissioning of large RF systems. – the assistance in the design of electronic board prototypes, installation and commissioning of WorldFIP systems and timing control equipment. – cabling works, equipment testing, and test benches, mechanical works to allow assembling various systems.

Interested firms or group of firms shall have a proven experience in: – running preventive and corrective maintenance services for industrial sites and either: – installing and commissioning electrical and electronic systems – manufacturing and installing components using CERN on-site conventional and CNC machining.
