Item Description:
The European Union (EU) is a political and economic union of 28 member states that are located primarily in Europe.
The contract covers the provision of moving, handling and associated services for the European Parliament building complex in Strasbourg. The contractor undertakes to occasionally make an exterior lift available, at the European Parliament’s request, in order to load and unload goods.
This is mainly for a one-off presence of 5 to 10 handlers during the plenary session, who must load and unload the transport containers before and after the session, and a reinforced presence of 0 to 3 handlers mainly during the session week, and occasionally for specific tasks or ad hoc interventions outside of session periods.
The procurement involves the establishment of a framework agreement Framework agreement with a single operator.
