Provision of Office Supplies, Paper and other articles related to the work environment

Item Description:

The General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union (‘GSC’), referred to below as the contracting authority, is planning to award the contract resulting from the above procurement procedure. The procurement documents consist of the contract notice, the invitation letter, the draft contract and the tender specifications, with their annexes. All documents are available in the attached ZIP File.

Purpose

This contract concerns the supply and delivery to the GSC of a wide range of office items for its staff. The supplies include, but are not limited to, paper (including A4 and A3 paper for printers and copiers, envelopes, etc.), writing supplies, filing and organisational materials, packaging, customised products, various small items such as USB sticks, CDs/DVDs, stamps, light bulbs, desk pads, small paper shredders, trolleys, plexiglass separators, masks, gloves, distilled water, label makers, technical cabinets, office lamps, etc.

The following services are also covered (this is a non-exhaustive list):

• the provision and updating of a computerised system (catalogue management, placement of orders, budgetary control, invoicing, statistics, etc.) at the GSC’s request;
• the training of authorised GSC staff in using the electronic ordering system and/or any other system related to invoicing and/or statistics;
• the provision and updating of documentation regarding prices listed in the various catalogues;
• after-sales service.

Additional services of a similar type that are not explicitly provided for above may be carried out by mutual agreement.

This contract will have a maximum duration of four (4) years. The framework contract will be signed for an initial period of two years, following which it may be automatically renewed twice on an annual basis.
