Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has received a financing from ADB towards the cost of Punjab Intermediate Cities Improvement Investment Project (PICIIP). It is intended that part of the proceeds of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
The Program Management Unit (PMU), Punjab Intermediate Cities Improvement Investment Project (PICIIP), Local Government & Community Development Department, Punjab, Pakistan (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the NCB- Works/PICIIP-04: Road Upgradation (“the Works”):
Lot-1:
(i) High Street Livable Model Road Sahiwal
(ii) Arratullah Road Livable Model Road Sahiwal
(iii) Pedestrian & Cycling Track Sahiwal
(iv) Bus Stops Sahiwal
Lot-2:
Improvement of Shahabpura Road Sialkot
Lot-3:
Improvement of Signals and Junctions Sialkot
Lot-4:
Construction of Flyover in Sialkot
Bidders may bid for one or multiple or ALL lots, as described in the Bidding Documents.
National Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the ADB’s Single Stage- Two Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all eligible Bidders as described in the Bidding Document.
