Item Description:
The World Food Programme (WFP) in collaboration with United Nations Secretariat (UN) and United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) are seeking a provider of Vehicle Tracking & Telematics systems and related products and services.
Vehicle Tracking systems have been used by WFP and the UN for years to satisfy security, logistical and fleet management needs. Operating in some of the most difficult and harsh environments in the world, the reliability and accuracy of the tracking of asset and its telematics can prove very important for operations’ success.
The purpose of this request for EOI is to identify suppliers with verified technical and financial capacity to provide goods and any related services. Eligible suppliers will be invited to participatein the bidding process for the proposed tender.
Eligibility to participate in the proposed tender will be determined on the basis of confirmed capability with the following minimum requirements:
a. Global service coverage
b. GPRS and satellite connectivity
c. Proven track record of delivering similar services at scale.
