Provision of WSO2 Delivery Management and Development services

Item Description:

The United Nations World Food Programme (hereinafter referred to as the WFP), with its Headquarters located in Via C.G. Viola, 68/70, 00148 Rome, Italy is the leading humanitarian organization saving lives and changing lives, delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience by assisting almost 100 million people in around 83 countries each year. About 17,000 people work for the organization, most of them in remote areas, directly serving the hungry poor.

The WFP TECD/Digital Core seeks to purchase Consulting Service, Support Maintenance, and Enterprise Licensing Subscription for WSO2 API Manager and WSO2 Identity Server

We are asking for expertise and proficiency in the technical management of the two above platforms with a particular focus on:

1. 1. Consulting services
   2. Product Management
   3. Service design and analysis
   4. Continual Service Improvement

WFP invites eligible suppliers to express their interest in providing the requested services.

The purpose of this EOI

1. The purpose of this request for EOI is to identify suppliers with verified technical and financial capacity to perform the services. Eligible suppliers will be invited to participate in the bidding process for the proposed tender.
2. Eligibility to participate in the proposed tender will be determined based on:
   1. Demonstrated experience in the design and implementation of WSO2-based solutions(solution architecture, data models, enterprise environments, code reviews, security audits).
   2. Demonstrated experience in deploying solutions on modern cloud providers, mainly Amazon Web Services and Azure.
   3. Demonstrated experience in providing 24×7 expert incident support.
   4. Demonstrated proficiency in managing WSO2 accounts, scopes, and roles.
   5. Demonstrated proficiency on WSO2 API publishing and in configuring WSO2 API Managerinstances, settings, and configuration files.
   6. Demonstrated proficiency in managing WSO2 API Managerproduct lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.
   7. Demonstrated proficiency on setting up WSO2 Identity Server Carbon Console(Service Provider, Users and Roles, and Claim Configuration).
   8. Demonstrated proficiency in managing WSO2 Identity Serverproduct lifecycle, focusing on coding, and debugging.

After the deadline for submission of responses has passed, WFP will evaluate responses received and will notify eligible participants of the outcome of the evaluation.

Response

To participate in the pre-selection exercise, suppliers are required to provide the following:

• Confirmation of interest in being considered for the delivery of the above services;
• Company description and summary of experience in the required business (max 3 pages);
• Filled-in Questionnaire (please refer to the enclosed template);
• Please do not provide any financial information.

This request for EOI does not constitute a solicitation. Upon receipt of a positive response, WFP may proceed with the next steps to engage a vendor.
