Reconstruction of the Abakaliki Ring Road Project

The African Development Bank Group (AfDB) or Banque Africaine de Développement (BAD) is a multilateral development finance institution. The AfDB was founded in 1964 and comprises three entities: The African Development Bank, the African Development Fund and the Nigeria Trust Fund. The AfDB’s mission is to fight poverty and improve living conditions on the continent through promoting the investment of public and private capital in projects and programs that are likely to contribute to the economic and social development of the region. The AfDB is a financial provider to African governments and private companies investing in the regional member countries (RMC).

Request for Application for Prequalification

The Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) has received a loan from the Africa Development Bank (AFDB) towards the cost for the Ebonyi State Ring Road Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for Procurement of Contractors for the Construction of the Ebonyi State Ring Road Project, Section III: Nwezenyi – Nwofo (17.23 km), Nwofe – Ndofo (16.23km) and Section IV: Ndoko – Akpaka Umuakpu (17.23km), Akpaka Umuakpu – Ezzamgbo (16.23km) of the Ebonyi State Ring Road Project.

The Ebonyi State Ring Road Project Objective is to contribute to socio-economic development, poverty reduction through improved road transport infrastructure to reduce road maintenance costs, vehicle operating cost and travel time. Procurement of Contractors for the Reconstruction of the EBONYI STATE Ring Road Project as follows:-

• Lot 1 Section 111 Nwezenyi – Nwofe
• Lot 2 Section 111 Nwofe – Ndoko
• Lot 3 Section 1V Ndoko – Akpaka Umuakpu
• Lot 4 Section 1V AkpakaUmuakpu – Ezzamgbo (16.23km).

The State Project Implementation Unit (SPIU), Ebonyi State – Ebonyi State Ring Road Project (EBRRP) on behalf of Ebonyi State Government now invites sealed Applications in form of Pre – qualification document from eligible Applicants for Procurement of Contractors For the Reconstruction of the Abakaliki Ring Road Project Section III: Nwezenyi – Nwofo (17.23 km), Nwofe – Ndofo (16.23km) and Section IV: Ndoko – Akpaka Umuakpu (17.23km), Akpaka Umuakpu – Ezzamgbo (16.23km).
