Item Description:
CERN intends to place a framework contract for the supply of approximately 8 000 customised optical patch cords for the ATLAS and CMS upgrades, covering a wide range of customisations by length, connector type, fanout arrangement, fanout type (naked vs. rugged) and fibre type.
Interested firms shall have proven experience and competence in the connectorisation and testing of optical patch panels, and the operational capacity to manage a range of customisations.
