Item Description:
CERN intends to place several contracts for the supply of CPU Servers for Physics Data Processing. The servers (rack-mountable PC systems, or integrated systems) will be deployed in the CERN Cloud Infrastructure in the CERN Meyrin data centre as well as other CERN sites.
Interested firms shall have a proven experience and competence in the supply of CPU Servers for Physics Data Processing. They shall also be ISO 9001 certified and be Intel Tier 1 supplier or an Intel Premier Provider, or have an equivalent business and technical relationship with AMD. Off-site (return to base) warranty services for three or in some cases up to five years are required.
