The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Republic of Uzbekistan has applied for financing from the ADB toward the cost of Tashkent Province Sewerage Improvement Project and intends to apply part of this financing to payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.
The ADB Project Coordination Unit (PCU) of O’zsuvta’minot JSC on behalf of the Toshkent Suv Ta’minoti LLC (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the design, supply and installation of (i) Lot 1: Rehabilitation of WWTP with the capacity of 60,000 m3/day in Bekabad city, (ii) Lot 2: Rehabilitation of WWTP with the capacity of 100,000 m3/day in Almalyk city and (iii) Lot 3: Rehabilitation of WWTP with the capacity of 100,000 m3/day in Angren city (“the Facilities”). Bidders are allowed to bid for a lot or any combination of lots.
Open competitive bidding (international advertisement) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
