Request for Expression of Interest for Antibiotic powder for injection (Beta Lactams).

Item Description:

UNICEF is requesting Expressions of Interest from eligible suppliers in preparation for a solicitation exercise for Antibiotics powder for injection (Betalactams). The products of interest fall under the following categories:

Category 1: Ampicillin powder for injection. 500mg vial, various pack sizes

Category 2: Cloxacillin powder for inj. 500 mg, various pack sizes

Category 3: Benzylpenicillin powder for inj. 3g (5MIU), various pack sizes

Category 4: Benzathine Benzylpenicillin powder for inj 1.44 g (2.4MIU), various pack sizes

Category 5: Procaine Benzylpenicillin powder for inj. 1g (1MIU), various pack sizes

Category 6: Procaine Benzylpenicillin powder for inj. 3g (5MIU), various pack sizes

Potential suppliers:

UNICEF purchases primarily direct from manufacturers and/or their authorized representatives.

UNICEF is particularly interested in identifying competitive suppliers that can offer items within the categories listed above. Potential suppliers are to indicate the pack sizes they have available in their portfolios.

To be considered for the planned tender it is preferable, but not a requirement for potential suppliers to have a website providing access to the product information.

Procedure for submission of EoI:

Interested suppliers are encouraged to indicate their interest by duly completing the accompanying Expression of Interest (EoI) form and send via email to: Henrik Nielsen (hnielsen@unicef.org) with the subject Expression of Interest (EoI) Antibiotics powder for injection (Beta lactams) by 07/11/2017 CET before 23:59 hours.

• Prices are not required at this stage;
• Questions about e.g. conformity of the supplier’s products will not be entertained;
• This REoI does not constitute a solicitation. Submitting an EoI does not automatically guarantee receipt of the solicitation document when issued;
• UNICEF reserves the right to require compliance with additional conditions as and when issuing the final solicitation document.
• UNICEF reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the REoI and/or solicitation process.
