Item Description:
The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP), Bangkok, Thailand, is seeking a qualified and experienced contractor for the provision of roof renovation and installation of solar panels at the United Nations Conference Centre (UNCC), the United Nations Building, Bangkok, Thailand.
The scope of work includes the following works:
- Design and install structure support (aluminium or hot-dip galvanised steel) to new profiled metal roof, for solar panel and grating walkway;
- Removal and disposal of the existing roof tiles
- Installation of new sheet metal roof
- Installation of solar panel, provided by owner, on the UNCC roof
- Electrical work for connecting solar panels to inverters.
- Design calculations: the contractor must carry out calculations to confirm the new solar panel installation and existing roof structure can withstand the static and dynamic forces encountered during operational conditions. The solar panel lookup angle should be calculated and optimised based on fixed panels for the entire year and agreed with ESCAP prior to frame construction and installation.
- Repair of existing cement kerb
- System warranty and maintenance services, is required to ensure that all electrical systems and subsystems installed by the contractor for the installation of solar panels and inverts, are operational.
- Associated work/task required for the implementation of the project, will be provided in detail in the tender document.
All works shall be in relation and delivered to THE UNITED NATIONS BUILDING RATCHDAMNOEN NOK AVENUE, BANGKOK, 10200, THAILAND
