Item Description:
CERN intends to place a contract for an instrumented indentation hardness standalone machine operating at room temperature. The machine shall have / be able to cope with: – a maximum force >= 10N; – an indentation depth >= 40µm; – SPM or AFM; – an active vibration isolation; – a max sample weight > 8 kg; – a max sample dimensions > 150 x 150 x 50 mm^3.
Interested firms shall have installed at least two similar devices in reference research laboratories.
