Excavate and restore cable trench including robot drilling (from G3A-G4D and from 220kV Tan Cang Substation to G10)

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Social Republic of Vietnam has received financing from the ADB toward the cost of the Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City Power Grid Development Sector Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract named above. This contract will be jointly financed by the ASEAN Infrastructure Fund. The eligibility rules and procedures of ADB will govern the bidding process.

The Ho Chi Minh City Power Project Management Board on behalf of The Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation (EVNHCMC) invites e-bids from eligible Bidders for excavating and restoring cable trench including robot drilling (from G3A-G4D and from 220kV Tan Cang Substation to G10) with the completion period of 180 days.

Location of Project is spread along District 9, 2 & Binh Thanh District of Hochiminh City. Principal quantities involve:

• Construction of 2-circuit cable ditch (MC-2A type) from 220kV Tan Cang Substation to G10 position with a total length of about 84m (each cable ditch includes one 220kV circuit and one 110kV circuit)
• Construction of 4-circuit cable ditch section from G4D position to G3A-1 position by robot drilling and pipe pulling (including two 220kV circuits and two 110kV circuits) with the total length of about 683m
• Construction of 4-circuit cable ditch (MC-4A type) from G3A-1 position to G3A position (220kV underground cable connection pole), with the total length of about 185m

National Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the ADB’s Single Stage – One Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all eligible Bidders as described in the Bidding Document.
