Consultancy Services for Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Environmental and Social Management and Resettlement Plan – GPA

The African Development Bank Group (AfDB) or Banque Africaine de Développement (BAD) is a multilateral development finance institution. The AfDB was founded in 1964 and comprises three entities: The African Development Bank, the African Development Fund and the Nigeria Trust Fund. The AfDB’s mission is to fight poverty and improve living conditions on the continent through promoting the investment of public and private capital in projects and programs that are likely to contribute to the economic and social development of the region. The AfDB is a financial provider to African governments and private companies investing in the regional member countries (RMC).

The Gambia Port Authority (GPA) has funds for the cost of Consultancy Services for Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Environmental and Social Management and Resettlement Plan for GPA Projects. It is intended that part of these funds will be applied to eligible payments under the Contract for which this Request for Proposal is issued.

The GPA intends to select bidders for the following service contract under this project: Consultancy Services for Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Environmental and Social Management and Resettlement Plan for GPA Projects.

It is expected that Proposals will be issued in August 2021.

The last date for enquiry is Monday 6th September 2021.

Submissions of Proposals must be received in sealed envelopes at the Office of the Managing Director,

GPA no later than Tuesday 14th September 2021 and be clearly marked “Consultancy Services for Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Environmental and Social Management and Resettlement Plan for GPA Projects ”; Procurement No: GPA/HA/2021/OT/05/06.

Bidders must submit Technical and Financial Proposals in different envelopes.

GPA is not bound to accept the lowest Bid.

Bidders will be advised, in due course, of the results of their Proposals.
