The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
India (hereinafter called “Borrower”) has applied for financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Bengaluru Smart Energy Efficient Power Distribution Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.
The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (“the Employer”) invites online bids from eligible Bidders for the Conversion of 11KV Over Head Line into UG cable, Running of new 11kv Feeder for bifurcation of load, Conversion of LT Over Head Line into UG/AB Cable and Laying of Optic Fibre Cable along with 11 KV/LT UG Cable in 4 lots.
Bidders may bid for one or multiple lots as described in the Bidding Documents.
Open Competitive Bidding – International will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
