Engineering, Procurement and Construction, 500kV Single Circuit Transmission Line from 500 kV “Guzar” substation (Uzbekistan) to existing 500kV “Regar” substation

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

Republic of Uzbekistan has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of the Northwest Region Transmission Line Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contracts named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The Joint Stock Company (JSC) “National Electric Grid of Uzbekistan” (the “Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for engineering, procurement and construction 500kV Single Circuit Transmission Line from 500 kV “Guzar” substation (Uzbekistan) to existing 500kV “Regar” substation (approx. 63.5km) (the “Works”), as detailed and specified in the Bidding Document (the “Contract”).

International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
