Extension of Mannar Wind Power Project Capacity Enhancement of Mannar Wind Power Project – Phase 1 of 20 MW with Additional 06 WTGs in Mannar Island of Sri Lanka

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Ceylon Electricity Board has received financing from the ADB towards the cost of Wind Power Generation Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.

The Ceylon Electricity Board (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Extension of Mannar Wind Power Project Capacity Enhancement of Mannar Wind Power Project – Phase 1 of 20 MW with Additional 06 WTGs in Mannar Island of Sri Lanka on Procurement of Plant, Design, Supply and Install basis.

International competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
