Hydro Power Plants Rehabilitation Project

Item Description:

PJSC “Ukrhydroenergo”, managing major part of hydro generation facilities in Ukraine, applied to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, London, United Kingdom (EBRD, Project ID 47947), and European Investment Bank, Luxembourg (EIB, Project ID 31.177) for the loans for the rehabilitation of most of its hydro power stations. The proposed Project, which has a total estimated cost of EUR 400 million (w/o VAT), will require the procurement of the following goods, works and services:

Package “HMEC”: Supply and Installation of one crane at Kremenchuk HPP and Supply and Installation of two cranes and motorization of 16 gates (replacement of supporting beams for cranes, rail tracks and electricity supply lines) at Dnipro HPP, 1-stage tender procedure. Expected Timing of Tender Document Issuance: January 2020

Package “WMS”: Water Management System, 1-stage tender procedure. Expected Timing of Tender Document Issuance: April 2020

Procurement of goods and works listed above will be carried out following the results of open tender processes.

Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the Bank will be subject to the Bank’s Procurement Policies and Rules and will be open to firms from any country. The proceeds of the Bank’s loan will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, of for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law of official regulation of the Purchaser’s country.
