Procurement of Substation Equipment

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

Invitation for Bids

The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has received financing from the ADB toward the cost of Second Power Transmission Enhancement Investment Program – Tranche 1, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The National Transmission and Despatch Company (NTDC, “the Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Procurement of Substation Equipment for Asset Management, NTDC:

• Lot-I: Supply of 550kV, 245KV & 145kV Current Transformers & 245kV Coupling Capacitor Voltage Transformers
• Lot-II: Supply of Overhead Flexible Conductors, Earthing Conductor, Earthing material, Termination Kits, Power Cables and Control Cables

as detailed and specified in the Bidding Documents. Bidder may submit their bid for one or more lot(s) or any combination of lots.

International competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single Stage-One Envelope procedure and is open to all Bidders from ADB eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
