The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON), on behalf of United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) invites qualified interested firms to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming solicitation for provision of editing and graphic design services for publications and their derivative products for UNEP.
Some of the expected outputs are:
Graphic Design Services
Design and create visual products of various kinds, including multi-page layouts incorporating text, photographs and illustrations/infographics. This includes developing characters, digital artworks, infographics for various types of publications and written documents, using a creative approach and in compliance with the target audience’s readability and usability. Some of the graphic design activities include:
- Publication and Layout Design
- Presentation Design
- General Graphic Design
- Illustration
- Data Visualization
Editing Services
Editorial guidance and support through services of writers, editors, copy editors and proof readers. Editing is required for a range of publications from scientific reports to advocacy manuals, brochures, technical documents and digital products. Some of the editing activities include:
- Substantive editing
- Copy editing
- Proofreading
The complete details of the requirement will be provided in the tender documents that will be issued to bidders after this request for EOI is closed.
The contract resulting from the consecutive solicitation exercise which will be launched following closure of this REOI, is anticipated to be awarded for 5 years (initial period of 3 years with the option to extend for additional 2 years).
