Provision of Electromechanical Supplies and Installations at the New Geed Deeble Pumping Station (Lot 2), Hargeisa Urban Water Supply Upgrading Project (HUWSUP)

Item Description:

The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from competent and qualified companies for the provision of Electro-mechanical Supplies and Installations at the New Geed Deeble Pumping Station (Lot 2), under the Hargeisa Urban Water Supply Upgrading Project (HUWSUP). The work will take place in Hargeisa, Somaliland. The scope includes, but is not limited to the following works: LOT 2: • Supply of switchboards and other electro-mechanical components for new Geed Deeble Pumping Station. • Supply of 2 high capacity pumps, each rated at 500m3/hr at 300m head. • Supply of Stainless Steel pipes and fittings for new pump house. • Supply of 2 surge vessels, 15m3 each. Installation of above components, as well as 4 generators 1000KVA (supplied by UN), valves (supplied by UN). For the implementation of the Lot 2 works, all materials and equipment (except for generators and valves) are to be procured by the Contractor. Additional details, specifications and terms of reference shall be provided in the tender document to be issued subsequent to this EOI.
