Provision of Information and Communication Technology Services

The United Nations is seeking expressions of interest from companies interested in participating in a solicitation process for the Provision of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Services.

The ICT Services is in support of the hardware/software and UN services provided under the following ICT Categories: Project Management, Information Technology, Communications, Geospatial Information Systems, Broadcasting, ICT Administration and Training, Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR) and Electronic Defense Systems (EDS), System Integration and Innovation, and any other ICT related category for which a need for support may arise. The upcoming RFP may have separate work packages based on different categories mentioned above and mutiple vendors may be selected for different categories.

These services are considered to be ICT Professional Services, and will be required on an “as and when requested basis” at the sole discretion of the United Nations. Furthermore, these services will be enacted upon demand, taking into account both the availability of United Nations in-house expertise as well as the complexity of requirements under each of the United Nations ICT categories.

With the aim of promoting sustainability and country development, the United Nations seeks Suppliers capable of providing services under a multi year contract by contractual support resources within the geographical area or region of the United Nations Office requiring the services which can be on-site or through remote working, where applicable.

ICT Services will be delivered at the below offices:

• UN Headquarters, main UN offices and tribunals
• UN data centers in Valencia and Brindisi
• UN Peacekeeping Missions
• Special Political Missions
• Offices Away from Headquarters
• Regional Economic Commissions
• Future UN locations that fall under the same Category
• Remote working arrangement or offshore locations of the vendor
