Provision of Primary Third Party Liability Insurance for UN vehicles fleet located at GSC, Brindisi, Italy

Item Description:

The United Nations Logistics Base/United Nations Global Service Centre (GSC) in Brindisi, Italy has a requirement for the establishment of a Long Term Contract (3 + 1 + 1 years) for the Provision of Primary Third Party Liability Insurance for UN vehicles fleet located at GSC, Brindisi, Italy. The primary third party liability insurance shall cover GSC’s vehicle/equipment operating fleet, comprising of light/medium/heavy vehicles, heavy trailers, and various material handling/engineering equipment. The Insurance Company shall also provide coverage for transit plates, vehicles and equipment not owned by the United Nations but hired/leased by the United Nations in conjunction with its operations. The GSC’s fleet presently includes 111 vehicles and 15 transit plates; however, the number and types of vehicles/equipment insured may be amended on an “as and when required” basis, as per GSC operational requirements which contemplate inclusion/exclusion of vehicles from the insured log book. The insurance policy shall cover bodily third party injury/disability/death and/or any damages to third party vehicles/equipment/property which may occur within or outside the GSC premises, as dictated by the applicable Italian laws and regulations.
