The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (the “Global Fund”) invites all potential suppliers (the “Bidders”) to submit proposals for the above-captioned Request for Proposals (RFP).

The Information Technology (IT) department is responsible for implementing solutions for the different departments of The Global Fund Secretariat.  With the aim of reinforcing the impact of the IT organization in the mission of the Global Fund in fight the AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria, IT is implementing several initiatives.  Maturing our approach to software asset management is a key pillar of this approach.

The Global Fund IT Department is seeking proposals from vendors to provide a fully / partially managed Software Asset Management services.

Specialized and experienced capability is sought to provide tooling and consultancy support to manage key elements of the Software Asset lifecycle process.

Key drivers behind the request for a fully managed (or partially managed) service include:

• Optimization of software spend, entitlements and consumption
• Enhanced governance, compliance and risk management
• Maximizing the value from software and cloud portfolios
• Obtaining a centralized view of all SAM activity across the organization
