Item Description:
The United Nations Procurement Division (“UNPD”) intends to issue a solicitation for the provision of vehicle inspection mirrors with the purpose of establishing a global systems contract for an initial period of three (3) years with the option to extend for two additional one year periods at the sole discretion of the United Nations.
The vehicle inspection mirrors are required for use by United Nations field missions worldwide and for the regular replenishment of the Strategic Deployment Stock located at the United Nations Global Service Center (UNGSC), Brindisi, Italy.
The vehicle inspection mirrors will used by United Nations security personnel controlling access of vehicles to United Nations premises to identify suspicious objects affixed to the underside or other parts of the vehicles not immediately visible from the normal angle of sight.
Detailed specifications and estimated requirements will be provided in the solicitation documents.
