Rehabilitation of South Sewage Collector

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Republic of Tajikistan has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Dushanbe Water Supply and Sanitation Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The State Unitary Enterprise (SUE) “Dushanbevodokanal” (DVK) (the “Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of Rehabilitation of South Sewage Collector (“the Works”).

Open Competitive Bidding (OCB) – International will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document who meet the following key qualifications and other requirements specified in Section 3 of the Bid Documents:

Participation in at least two (2) contracts that have been successfully or substantially completed within the last five (5) years and that are similar to the proposed contract, where the value of the Bidder’s participation exceeds US$8 million. The similarity of the Bidder’s participation shall be based on the physical size, nature of works, complexity, methods, technology, or other characteristics as described in Section 6 (Employer’s Requirements).

Minimum average annual turnover of US$10 million as calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress or completed, within the last three (3) years.
