Item Description:
The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) hereby invites national and international companies to submit their expression of interest for the upcoming procurement process in relation to the Supply and Delivery of Mobile Storage Units (MSU) to Ukraine. Bidders may express interest to either one item or all items. To address the grain storage deficit in Ukraine, FAO is coordinating a combined strategy with government and development partners to deploy storage capacity to small-scale farmers for 2022-2023. To increase the amount of temporary on-farm storage for smallholders, FAO will deliver a range of Modular Storage Units (MSUs) with varying capacity for medium-sized farmers. It is important that the MSUs are delivered and assembled within the seasonal timeframe of the harvest, therefore capacity to deliver will be an important element in the information provided in the EOI.
