Purpose

The EURL GMFF is the JRC point of reference for the provision of scientific and technical support to policy development under the EC regulatory framework for Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) and for the development of biotechnology expertise in areas relevant to health and consumer protection.

The main legal mandate of the EURL GMFF under Reg. (EC) No 1829/2003 is to validate methods for detection of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) for which industry seeks authorisation for lawfully place on the market as food or feed products.

The EURL GMFF is looking for a new dPCR instrument based on pre-made solid-state partitions to complement the capacity of performing dPCR analysis using the technologies in quantification of nucleic acid target sequences in food and feed.
