Item Description:
CERN intends to place two contracts for the supply of Hard Drives for Physics Data Processing. These Hard Drives, each providing a capacity of 12TB, will replace the existing ones in about 64 external SAS storage expansion units currently deployed in the CERN Meyrin data centre.
Interested firms shall have a proven experience and competence in Hard Drive field, Off-site warranty services for five years are required whereby supplier is notified by CERN about failed parts or units and delivers the corresponding replacements.
