The European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (Eurofound) is an agency of the European Union which focuses on managing research, gathering information, and communicating its findings. It was set up by in May 1975 by the European Council to help improve living and working conditions across Europe, and was one of the first bodies established to work on a specific subset of EU policy. It is headquartered in Loughlinstown, County Dublin, Ireland.

Eurofound is planning to award the contract resulting from the above procurement procedure. The procurement documents consist of the contract notice, this invitation letter (Part A, Tender Specifications (PART B), the Standard Reply Form (PART C), the Draft contract (Part D) and Editing Excercise (E) with its respective annexes. The subject matter of the framework contract (‘the FWC’) is the provision of editing and proofreading services. Eurofound requires specialised, qualified and experienced English-language editorial services to contribute to the development of Eurofound’s publishing activities and ensure the delivery of high-quality print and online publications, while managing a fluctuating workload and bottlenecks. The editorial function is critical in ensuring the high-quality standard of Eurofound publications.
