Procurement of Plant – Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 220/20 kV Substation at Farah

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Islamic Republic of Afghanistan has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Energy Supply Improvement Investment Program – Tranche 7, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The National Procurement Authority (NPA) on behalf of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) (“the Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Procurement of Plant – Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 220/20 kV Substation at Farah (“the Facilities”).

Open Competitive Bidding (International Advertisement) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
