Item Description:
The United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) intends to conduct a competitive solicitation exercise for the Provision of Food and Hygiene Items to UNMIK for the 33 Municipalities around Kosovo in the most efficient and environmental manner.
The successful Contractor shall be responsible for supply of the following food and hygiene items:
- Hygiene package including below items:
- Hair Shampoo 1l (1 x1l)
- Dishwashing liquid 3l
- Laundry detergent 3kg
- 3 Bars of soap (3 x 90 gr)
- Toothpaste 3 packages (3 x 100 gr)
- Toilet paper 12 rolls, 2 layers (1 pack x 12 rolls)
- Feminine hygiene product (with 24 pads) 3 packs
- Hygiene product for the elderly – (2 packs x 75-100 kg)
- Expiry date from the delivery date: minimum 6 months
- Samples (mandatory) of complete package to be provided for Technical Evaluation.
- Food package including below items:
- Hand sanitizer (2 pcs by 100ml)
- Flour 5kg (1 x 5kg)
- Vegetable oil 5l (5 x 1l)
- Milk 5l ( 5 x 1l)
- Rice 5 packages (5 x 1 kg)
- Pasta 5 packages (5 x 500 gr)
- Salt 1kg – (1 x 1kg)
- Sugar 5kg (1 x 5kg)
- Canned meat 10 packages – chicken/small cans
- Canned fish 10 packages – tuna/small cans
- Expiry date from the delivery date: minimum 6 months
- Samples (mandatory) of complete package to be provided for Technical Evaluation.
Distribution of packages to 33 Municipalities around Kosovo will be supplier’s responsibility and coordinated with UNMIK.
Companies interested to participate in the tender are requested to submit their EOI by e-mail as indicated above. The EOI must include the following company’s information:
- Company’s background, including experience in provision of relevant services;
- “Business Registration Certificate and License” for provision of relevant services in Kosovo
This Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) does not constitute a solicitation. UNMIK reserves the right to change or cancel the requirements at any time during EOI and/or solicitation process. Submission of a reply to this EOI does not automatically guarantee that such a firm will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued. Only vendors, deemed qualified upon completion of an objective evaluation of their submission of EOI, will receive the final tender solicitation document.
